Remy Cafe & Bistro sits just off Castle Hill’s Old Northern Road, quietly blending the neighbourhood’s laid-back charm with a menu that mixes casual comfort with a touch of gourmet flair. This spot functions primarily as a cafe with bistro vibes, making it a versatile choice whether you’re after a long, relaxed coffee or a full plate of thoughtfully crafted food.

The atmosphere here is unpretentious and a bit intimate, with a small outdoor seating area that catches gentle sunlight—perfect for a mid-morning catch-up or a slower afternoon break. Locals tend to drop in during weekdays for coffee and brunch, while evenings bring a more substantial dining feel, offering an array of dishes like brisket kimchi toasties and crab bisque tagliatelle that hint at sophisticated, globally-inspired flavors without losing the comfort element.

One practical plus is the onsite parking beneath the building, which appeals to families or anyone wanting to avoid the often busy Castle Towers parking. Service is friendly though occasionally a bit slow, especially when the place is busy, which gives the impression the team is growing into its rhythm. Watching the barista’s coffee-making process adds a little theatre to the experience, and the drinks—whether a matcha latte or a smooth cafe latte—hold their own as a highlight.

The menu’s depth means this isn’t just a quick coffee stop. Items like the Toowoomba linguine and kimchi beef sandwich get positive nods for portion size and flavor, while the sweet potato fries and options like almond croissants or crème brûlée round out the offerings for lighter or sweet moments. It’s a spot where families, friends, and even solo visitors can find something to suit their mood—from a simple coffee to a more involved shared meal.

In short, Remy Cafe & Bistro fits the bill for anyone in Castle Hill looking for a casual, reliably tasty place to eat and drink outside of major shopping centres, with enough character to feel like it belongs in the local mix. Early afternoon light and quieter weekday mornings seem to bring out the best vibes here, making it a good stop between errands or as a neighborhood meeting point.

Found this little gem today meeting up with a girlfriend for lunch. Plenty of parking on-site under the building which is great because I was able to avoid parking at Castle Towers. Food was delicious, I ordered the ebi (prawn) burger with sweet potato fries. Food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious with generous portions. I will be back with the whole family so we can try out more food!

New cafe find thanks to EatClub! After reading all the Google reviews and looking at the photos and menus, we knew we had to visit. Found this absolute gem in Castle Hill which rivals all the other Korean-style fusion cafes in Sydney. Boasting great coffee and Insta-worthy food, we ordered: * Toowoomba Linguine - very saucy and was a 10/10 dish! The toasted bread given was buttered and not just plain bread! They were very generous with the prawns in this dish and it was just a JOY to eat! * Umami XO Fried Rice - no ordinary fried rice. This baby packed a punch in flavour, texture and more prawns! So good! * Clam Chowder - had actual clams in it! Clam chowder which you don’t normally see on menus in Australia was a very special selling point for the cafe and it was chunky and hearty. Perfect for winter! * Basque Cheesecake - the best way to finish off a meal! The cake was a typical cheesecake but paired with a berry coulis and whipped cream. * Cappuccino * Mocha You can tell the chefs and baristas put so much love into their food and drinks as every detail was well-thought out and executed. Surprisingly no Sunday surcharge either which is a rare thing nowadays! We couldn’t wait to bring friends and family here next time! Well done, Remy Cafe & Bistro!

Amazing food, compliments to the chefs, every elements within the dishes were produced very nicely! So far is our favourite cafe! Coffee making process is a pleasure to watch, drinks were good too. However, waitresses could do with more training, reaction time in arranging seating, and serving to the table can do better feels like they are confused. Overall its an awesome cafe, must try. Thank you for being in castle hill

Great cafe with a nice small outdoor set up. The pasta and bacon and egg roll was good.

We ordered toowoomba linguine, kimchi beef sandwich, açaí bowl and iced coffee. Everything tastes good. The only thing that is not that perfect is the beef in the sandwich is a bit too fat. Still recommend

This is genuinely one of Sydney's best cafe foods ever and yes I am a bit biased towards asian fusion cafes but this place tops a lot of cafes I've been to. I absolutely love seafood and if you do too I would highly recommend the XO fried rice the flavour was amazing, and I would definitely recommend adding a sunny side up egg like I did . I also tried the kimchi beef toastie and at first I had my doubts because I usually don't like kimchi in dishes because the flavour is too overpowering and sour but this was just perfectly in harmony with all the other ingredients and flavours. The service was also amazing because although we went at a pretty busy lunch time the food all came out so quickly and the taste did not disappoint. I would definitely come again to try the pasta next time!

The food here is insanely good! I’m so jealous of the locals who can come all the time. I came all the way from the city just to eat here, and it was 100% worth it. I eat out almost every day, and this place beats most spots in the city. Even some fine dining places don’t stand a chance.

Yummy food, friendly service and nice ambience. We sat outside and enjoyed good coffees, freshly squeezed breakfast juice, poached eggs, avo on toast, açai bowl, mushroom poke bowl and taro latte. The food came out quickly. Seating is limited but there is a good variety of sitting areas including indoors, outdoors and even upstairs. Thank you Vasco & team
